The annual Jamaica One Love Affair, hosted by the Jamaica Tourist Board, took place from 12-15 December in Jamaica. This exclusive event honours the top UK bookers within the Jamaica Rewards agent programme, celebrating their dedication and exceptional contributions to promoting Jamaica as a premier travel destination.

This year’s lucky agents included Krystal Simon from TUI, David Coulter from Blue Bay, Melanie Booth from TUI, and Zoe Knight from Virgin Atlantic Holidays. They were hosted by Torrance Lewis, the Jamaica Tourist Board’s District Sales Manager, and Sean-Pierre Webster, the Business Development Officer (Southern UK). Accompanied by their partners, the agents enjoyed an all-expenses-paid trip to Jamaica, featuring a Club Mobay VIP Arrival Service and a luxurious stay at the newly opened all-inclusive Princess Grand Jamaica.

Throughout the weekend, attendees participated in a series of memorable events, highlighted by the grand opening ceremony of the hotel, which was attended by Jamaica’s Prime Minister. The festivities included a chic “All White” event at Couples Negril and the One Love Affair awards dinner and ceremony to celebrate the Top 50 Agents at the Princess Resort. The awards were presented by the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, and Princess Resorts gifted the Top 50 agents with a complimentary three-night stay. During their time in Jamaica, agents also had the chance to enjoy excursions with CHUKKA and Island Routes, including ziplining and catamaran cruises.

“I have been in travel for 23 years, and have never ever felt so valued, celebrated and special as I did during the One Love Affair. There were many “pinch me” moments throughout the event, it's made me fall in love with Jamaica all over again and I can't wait for more of my customers to experience the One Love welcome that I have received during my recent time in Jamaica.” said top booker, Krystal Simon from TUI.

Torrance Lewis, District Sales Manager added: “The Jamaica One Love Affair provides the Jamaica Tourist Board with an invaluable opportunity to recognise and appreciate the dedication of our agents. We are grateful for their hard work and commitment. Each year, this event is a highlight for us, and the competition to be named the top agent is always exciting.”

The Jamaica One Love Affair not only celebrated the outstanding achievements of these agents but also provided invaluable networking opportunities, fostering stronger relationships between agents and the Jamaica Tourist Board.
